Someone has therefore kindly gone to the effort to compile a list of versions of AHT software and to provide the direct Apple download links for them from Apple's servers. If you have the original DVD installer discs then these may well have a copy on them which you could either boot from or use to reinstall the AHT software, however again I suspect these like mine have long ago been lost. The Mac Pro probably did have a local copy originally installed when it was first sold but I suspect the Mac has either been reformatted since then or had a new hard drive or both. Newer Macs can use a Hardware Test downloaded via the Internet but I believe the Mac Pro is too old for this.
